About Us
Neurodiversity Ireland is a national registered charity dedicated to celebrating different brains and unique thinkers and building truly inclusive communities across Ireland.
Founded by a community of neurodivergent parents of neurodivergent children, the organisation has grown into a nationwide movement committed to ensuring that neurodivergent children and their families belong, are understood, and are supported in everyday life.
The charity focuses on supporting neurodivergent children and families, educating the wider community, and advocating for more equitable, neuroinclusive environments.
The organisation does this through a variety of programmes and supports, including the establishment of Ireland's first Sensory Centre - a welcoming, child-centred space for play, exploration and occupational therapy-guided activities - as well as play-based afterschool clubs, summer camps, webinars, educational resources for parents and schools, and community initiatives.
The charity's message is simple and powerful: everyone belongs.

Apply for a Neurodiversity Ireland Lanyard
We provide children and adults in Ireland with a Neurodiversity Ireland Lanyard. This lanyard can be used to help empower neurodivergent people to request assistance or support in their daily lives.
Widely recognised at many Irish events and at Irish airports.
A community group must establish neuroaffirmative initiatives in the area to ensure local awareness and business commitment to accommodations.
