Where does my donation go?
Directly supports developing the Neurodiversity Ireland Sensory Centre, expanding accessible neuroaffirming supports, creating training and resources for schools and communities, and covering essential operational costs.
Does my donation fund therapy sessions for individual children?
No. Donations support the infrastructure, spaces, programmes and systems that make neuroaffirming support more accessible to many families over time.
Why are operational costs included?
Like all charities, Neurodiversity Ireland has necessary running costs (space, insurance, materials, staffing, administration) to ensure work is ethical, safe, regulated and sustainable.
Is Neurodiversity Ireland a registered charity?
Yes. All donations are used in line with charitable objectives and governance responsibilities.
Can I make a one-off or recurring donation?
Yes. You can choose a one-off donation or become a monthly supporter.
Can I fundraise for Neurodiversity Ireland?
Yes. Community fundraising, events, challenges and celebrations are welcome. Contact the organisation for guidance or materials.
Can I specify how my donation is used?
At this time, donations are directed toward overall mission and development, allowing flexible response to the most urgent needs.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Donations to Neurodiversity Ireland are tax-deductible under the Charitable Donation Scheme, provided they total at least €250 in a single calendar year. For individual donors, the tax relief is claimed directly by the charity rather than the individual, allowing us to reclaim an additional 31% of the donation's value from Revenue at no extra cost to you - just complete the CHY3/CHY4 form and send it to finance@neurodiversityireland.com. For corporate donors, the company can claim the donation as a deductible trading expense. To qualify, the contribution must be a pure gift of money or shares that provides no personal benefit or advantage to the donor.
